The curve
Because the 45° bend is moulded in, the aiming is settled before you touch it: the stroke tracks the front wall rather than driving straight back. A straight shaft leaves that job to whoever holds it.

01 · The angle
A straight shaft can only travel along the line it was propped at, so the angle you set by hand is the angle you get all session.
With the curve cast into the silicone, the angle arrives already decided; stick the cup down and each stroke repeats the same rising line. What changes in practice is which of you moves — you shift position, the toy stays put.

A remote that seems dead out of the box has almost always kept its insulation strip. Unscrew the battery cover, draw the white strip away, then screw the cover back down.

Fine detail survives in silicone in a way it does not in TPE, and that is why the raised veining running the length of the shaft reads as relief rather than as pattern. The head takes a separate flush of colour.

06 · Upkeep
Silicone itself asks for little. What dictates the routine on this model is the motor.
Nothing on this list matters more: silicone lubricant fuses with a silicone shaft and wrecks the surface for good.
Residue hides in the veining and under the crown. Clean both with warm water and unscented soap, or with a cleaner intended for toys.
Water has to stay off the base and the control area, because a motor and a heating element sit behind them. The shaft on its own can be rinsed.
Give it a bag to itself. Months of contact with another silicone toy will break down both surfaces.
